Don’t Run Beta

For everybody who will be in London next week:

Initiated by Juan Montero and Eugenia Morpurgo, Don’t run – explores the possibility of a collaborative open production line for shoe making.

Presenting the project in its beta phase at the Republic of Fritz Hansen™ in a pop-up studio, the public are invited to come in and influence the design process over a period of four days.

Bringing manufacturing to the high street, we aim to create an entirely new system of production and consumption.

Rapid manufacturing machines such as laser cutters are used alongside revised and simplified assembly methods.
